Billy comes after Madani in The Punisher season 2 episode 13. The two engage in a shootout in Dumont’s apartment that turns into a brawl. Billy gets atop Madani and chokes her out, but not before Madani shoots Billy three times. Both collapse. When Madani comes to, Mahoney is in the apartment. Billy is bleeding out. Mahoney gives Madani her gun and badge and tells her to find Billy.
The Price for the Future
The Schultz’s are having the Pilgrim boys tailored for the funeral. They plan to kill Pilgrim and look after the boys, using them for their political schemes. Frank calls on David’s cell phone and demands that an exchange be made, Amy for David. The Schultz’s agree and call Pilgrim. They threaten his sons if Pilgrim can’t make the trade and return David unharmed. Pilgrim lies and says that he has Amy.
Amy, meanwhile, figures out which room Pilgrim is staying in at the hotel and calls Frank to come deal with him. While Frank is gone, Curtis arranges a meeting with Mahoney to hand over David, who refuses to have Curtis arrested, saying that Curtis is only doing what he can to right a lot of wrongs.
I Don’t Want to Die Alone
Bleeding out, Billy goes to an underworld doctor. Billy tells the doctor to remove the bullets and sew him up. The doctor protests that he’s not qualified for that, but gives in because Billy has a gun and money. Billy refuses anesthesia. The doctor gets one of the bullets out and is working on the second when Billy passes out from the pain. When Billy awakens, he’s been tossed in a dumpster, the remaining two bullets still inside and he’s bleeding out. The doctor has taken off with Billy’s money from the robberies. Billy crawls out of the dumpster and staggers away.
Curtis finally gets to his own bed when Billy calls. He’s dying at the veteran’s center and doesn’t want to die alone. Will Curtis please come sit with him, even though Billy doesn’t deserve it? Instead of Curtis, Frank arrives. Billy says of course it would be Frank. Billy starts to apologize when Frnak shoots him twice more, killing Billy. Mahoney, Curt, and Madani find the body. Madani suggests that maybe she put 5 bullets in Billy after all. Case closed.
You Need a Minute?
Frank arrives at the hotel and engages in a shootout with Pilgrim. Pilgrim takes Amy hostage and will bring her to the hostage exchange. Frank returns to the trailer to find that David is gone. When Pilgrim calls, Frank tells him to come to the trailer to get David. Pilgrim arrives and Frank talks him into letting Amy go. Once she’s away, Frank reveals that David’s not here. The two get into a junkyard brawl, with Frank getting the upper hand. Before Frank can kill Pilgrim, Pilgrim asks that when Frank goes after the Schultz’s that he not injure Pilgrims sons, which the Schultz’s have threatened to kill if Pilgrim doesn’t finish the job.
Amy and Frank visit the Schultz’s. When Eliza moves to attack Amy, Frank kills her. Frank tells Schultz that he can either kill himself and David’s secret remains a secret, or he can live and everything that has happened will be given to the police and the media. Schultz opts to kill himself and the boys are returned to Pilgrim, who waits for them outside.
When they get back to New York, Frank gives Amy some money and puts her on a bus to Florida. Frank has worked it out with a buddy who runs a diving school to train Amy to swim and dive so she can follow her dream of being a marine salvage hunter.
Three Months Later
Three months later, Frank is staking out a building. Madani calls his cell phone repeatedly. When Frank finally answers, she says that she’s with the CIA now. She has a bad guy who needs taken out and Frank is the best at that. She’s offering him a job. Frank says he already has a job and hangs up on her. Inside the building, two rival gangs are arguing over which called the meeting. Frank says that he did and guns down both gangs.
