Iron Man Mark VII Open Armor Collectible Gets Unboxing Video From Sideshow

Sideshow Collectibles is showing off a brand new Marvel collectible, this time in the form of the Iron Man Mark VII suit fully opened up.

The new collectible from Hot Toys is modeled after the armor used partially in Iron Man 3. In the film, after Tony Stark’s experiences in the Avengers movie, he questions whether he can continue being Iron Man. After a conversation with James Rhodes, he steps into the Mark VII suit to undergo a physiology test.

The Iron Man Mark VII Open Armor video from Sideshow goes over the figure in full detail and can be seen below:

What comes with the Iron Man Mark VII collectible?

The collectible itself is part of Hot Toys’ Diorama Series, and is a fully diecast suit that is opened up on the back, allowing for fans to get an inside look at Iron Man’s suit. The armor pieces are fully articulated and can be opened or closed, and even come with an LED light-up arc reactor to show off the interior of the suit more.

Fans can pose the suit in two different ways, and can be powered up via a USB cable as an individual display, or can be connected directly to the diorama base and powered on for a more comprehensive display.

The Iron Man Mark VII (Open Armor Version) is currently waitlisted on Sideshow’s site, so fans looking to pick up the collectible can join the mailing list for when more get released. If and when it becomes available again, the collectible retails for $370.
