Jennifer Coolidge recently opened up about an ex-boyfriend, and was shocked to discover that he is now a famous Swedish actor.
What happened between Jennifer Coolidge and her ex-boyfriend?
Speaking during a press junket for A Minecraft Movie, Coolidge offhandedly mentioned once dating a “really handsome Swedish guy” when she was younger. The interviewer then mentioned that the man, Rafael Edholm, is actually a well-known actor now. The legendary actress jokingly said she would’ve stayed with him if she had known and then sent a message his way.
“He is? Why didn’t I stick with him?” Coolidge joked. “Oh my god, can you get a message to him? Rafael, I didn’t know you were going to be successful but, anyway, if you want to know where I live . . . After this, I’ll give you my phone number.”
Thankfully for Coolidge, it wasn’t too long before her former boyfriend got the message. In a response on TikTok, Edholm could be seen running through the snow. In his video, he jokingly refers to himself as Coolidge’s “Swedish and famous ex,” and asks Coolidge when she’s coming to visit.
“Hey Jennifer. This is your Swedish and famous ex. Where the hell are you?” Edholm said. “Come and visit Sweden. It’s the most beautiful place in the world. Nothing beats the morning walks in the morning light . . . See you soon.”
Edholm is known for his work in Sweden, where he has starred in a variety of projects throughout the 1990s and 2010s. He’s also appeared in a variety of smaller roles internationally, with his latest appearance being in the CBS series FBI: International.
