Slice Trailer: Chance the Rapper Makes Film Debut

Slice Trailer: Chance the Rapper makes his film debut

A24 released the first official trailer today from their upcoming campy horror film, Slice. The trailer harkens back to the days of campy horror of the ’80s, with a mixture of seriousness as well as tongue and cheek humor.

The studio also released the first official poster from the horror film which pokes fun at the guarantee stated by pizza companies all over the country, except with their own little twist – Dead. In 30 minutes or less. Make sure you check out both the poster and the trailer below and let us know what you think.

In a spooky small town, when a slew of pizza delivery boys are slain on the job, two daring survivors (Atlanta’s Zazie Beetz and Chance the Rapper in a wild film debut) set out to catch the culprits behind the cryptic crime spree.

Slice stars Chance Bennett (Trolls 2), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), Paul Scheer (The League), Rae Gray (Dismissed), and Joe Keery (Stranger Things). The film is directed by Austin Vesely in his first feature film. He had previously helmed music videos for Chance the Rapper’s “Sunday Candy” and “Angels”.

There is currently no release date for Slice, but is set to be released later this year.
