RLJE Films have released the first Arizona trailer for the upcoming dark comedy starring Danny McBride (Eastbound and Down, Alien: Covenant).
Rosemarie DeWitt (La La Land) plays Cassie, a real estate agent and single mom struggling to keep it all together during the housing crisis of 2009. Her problems go from bad to worse when a disgruntled client, Sonny, played by McBride, violently confronts Cassie’s boss and then kidnaps Cassie – making one outrageously bad, and bloody, decision after another. Things completely spiral out of control in this explosive action comedy.
Arizona, which premiered at Sundance this year, marks the directorial debut of Jonathan Watson, who was an Executive Producer and Second Unit Director on the HBO series Vice Principals, which co-starred McBride. The script was written by Luke Del Tredici (30 Rock). Luke Wilson (Roadies), Elizabeth Gillies (Dynasty), Kaitlin Olson (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), and David Alan Grier (The Carmichael Show) will also star.
Arizona will be released in theaters and on VOD and Digital HD on August 24th. Check out the new trailer below.
