We’re just a few days away from the domestic release of Marvel‘s latest big screen superhero. Doctor Strange hits 2D, 3D and IMAX screens this Friday and, all this week, CS is celebrating by posting exclusive interviews with the film’s cast and crew. Today, we’re sharing our conversation with star Benedict Wong, who, coincidentally, plays Wong in the Scott Derrickson film. Doctor Strange is directed by Derrickson from a script by Jon Spaihts (Prometheus, Passengers) and C. Robert Cargill (Sinister). The film follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.
