Everybody Wants Some trailer takes a look back at the ’80s
Paramount has revealed the debut trailer for Boyhood writer/director Richard Linklater’s Everybody Wants Some, which is something of a spiritual follow-up to his cult classic Dazed and Confused. Rock out with the Everybody Wants Some trailer below!
Set in the world of 1980s college life, the story follows a group of college baseball players as they navigate their way through the freedoms and responsibilities of unsupervised adulthood. Get ready for the best weekend ever.
Taking its title from a hit song off Van Halen’s 1980 album “Women and Children First,” Everybody Wants Some features an ensemble cast of Will Brittain, Zoey Deutch, Ryan Anthony Guzman, Tyler Hoechlin, Blake Jenner, Glen Powell and Wyatt Russell. The film is written and directed by Richard Linklater and produced by Megan Ellison of Annapurna Pictures, Richard Linklater and Ginger Sledge.
Everybody Wants Some is scheduled to make its world premiere as the Opening Night film for the 23rd edition of SXSW Film on March 11, 2016 in Austin, Texas. Paramount Pictures will release the film in theaters on April 15, 2016.
