‘Public Enemies’ Has a Second Trailer

First off, after the release of the first trailer for Michael Mann’s Public Enemies online I saw a lot of people complaining about how it looked bad because Mann was shooting with HD cameras and so forth. Well, I saw the first trailer in the theater recently in front of Knowing and can say for certain everyone complaining needs to stop judging films based on what they see online, the picture looks phenomenal. However, the picture on this second trailer is on the other side of awful and the audio may be even worse.

The second trailer for Public Enemies has hit the Internet and is now featured directly below. Due out on July 1, Public Enemies stars Johnny Depp and Christian Bale and is set during the great crime wave of 1933-34, when the government’s attempts to stop Depression-era criminal legends such as John Dillilnger (Depp), Baby Face Nelson and Pretty Boy Floyd transformed J. Edgar Hoover’s FBI into the country’s first federal police force.

A better version is available at MSN, but it unfortunately isn’t embeddable.
