The first I Smile Back trailer is now online
Broad Green Pictures has revealed the first trailer for I Smile Back, the new dramatic vehicle for comedian Sarah Silverman (A Million Ways to Die in the West, Wreck-It Ralph) which will screen Saturday as a Special Presentation of the Toronto International Film Festival. Check out the I Smile Back trailer below!
I Smile Back explores the life of Laney (Silverman), an attractive, intelligent suburban wife and devoted mother of two adorable children. She has the perfect husband (Charles), a pristine house, and a shiny SUV for carting the children to their next activity. However, just beneath the façade lie depression and disillusionment that send her careening into a secret world of reckless compulsion. Only very real danger will force her to face the painful root of her destructiveness and its crumbling effect on those she loves.
The film is directed by Adam Salky from a screenplay by Amy Koppelman and Paige Dylan, and co-stars Josh Charles, Thomas Sadoski and Mia Barron.
I Smile Back comes to theaters in limited release on October 23.
