The new Disney/Pixar short Riley’s First Date gets a clip
After the critical and box office triumph of Inside Out, fans are waiting patiently for Disney/Pixar to announce an inevitable Inside Out 2, but until then the studio has the next best thing: A follow-up short titled Riley’s First Date, which ABC’s “Good Morning America” just debuted the first clip from. Check it out below!
Taking place one year after the events of the film, Riley’s First Date finds our title middle schooler now 12 years old, settled in with her family in San Francisco and starting to attract the attention of boys,
Diane Lane and Kyle MacLachlan return to voice Riley’s mother and father in the clip, along with Kaitlyn Dias as Riley as well as the core group of emotions inside her head: Joy (Amy Poehler), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling), Fear (Bill Hader) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). Ben Cox also provides voice work.
Riley’s First Date will be included as an exclusive bonus feature on the October 13 Digital HD release and the November 3 Blu-ray releases of Inside Out. You can pre-order the Blu-ray by clicking here.
