Break Point: An Exclusive Clip from the Tennis Comedy

Broad Green has provided ComingSoon.net with an exclusive clip from Jay Karas’ tennis comedy Break Point, starring Jeremy Sisto, David Walton, J.K. Simmons, Amy Smart, Joshua Rush, Vincent Ventresca and Adam Devine. It’s now available on various VOD platforms before its theatrical release on September 4.

The movie, which premiered at the 2014 South by Southwest Film Festival, stars Sisto (who also co-wrote the screenplay) as Jimmy Price, a doubles tennis player on the pro circuit whose shenanigans causes his partner to drop him, so he tries to convince his estranged brother Darren (David Walton) to join him for one last shot at fame. Unfortunately his brother is now a substitute teacher back in their hometown, but with the help of a young boy named Barry, they decide to make a play for the grand slam tournament.

In the clip below, we see Darren running into Amy Smart’s Heather, who works for his father Jack (Oscar-winner J.K. Simmons) and whom Darren has had a massive crush on although he never did anything about it.
