Christine Everhart from the Iron Man movies interviews Scott Lang
You might remember reporter Christine Everhart (Leslie Bibb) as the Vanity Fair reporter from the first and second Iron Man movies (and a rumored role in Captain America: Civil War), but today she’s anchoring for WHIH to interview a certain San Quentin inmate named Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) before he becomes the title hero in this weekend’s Marvel extravaganza Ant-Man. Check out the jokey video with lots of Lang’s backstory below!
Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd (This is 40, They Came Together), Evangeline Lilly (“LOST,” The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies) and Michael Douglas (The Game, And So It Goes) and brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time. Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang (Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
The Ant-Man cast also stars Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Tip “T.I.” Harris, Wood Harris, Judy Greer and David Dastmalchian, Ant-Man features a script by Edgar Wright, Joe Cornish, Paul Rudd and Adam McKay and is directed by Peyton Reed.
Ant-Man opens in theaters wide on July 17.
