Samuel L. Jackson Trains Hailee Steinfeld in a New Barely Lethal Clip

Both a new clip and a new poster for A24’s upcoming action comedy Barely Lethal are now online. Check the clip out in the video player below and find the poster in the gallery viewer at the bottom of this page.

Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit, Ender?s Game), Jessica Alba (Sin City, Machete), Samuel L. Jackson (Django Unchained, Pulp Fiction), and Sophie Turner (?”Game of Thrones”) star in the action comedy, written and directed by Kyle Newman (Fanboys) and produced by produced by Main Street Films, Hopscotch Pictures and RatPac Entertainment.

In the film, Steinfeld plays Megan, a young international assassin who yearns for a ?normal? adolescence, prompting her to fake her own death and enroll in a suburban high school. Alba plays Victoria, Megan’s former handler and current nemesis, who enlists Heather (Turner) to go undercover at the high school and reacquire the runaway. Jackson portrays Megan?’s mentor, Hardman.

Last year, ComingSoon.net spoke with Turner about her varied career, including her performance in Barely Lethal.

“It was so crazy to go and do something like ‘Barely Lethal’ where all the lead actors, other than Samuel L. Jackson and Jessica Alba, were under 22,” she said. “We were so immature and so crazy and had so much fun. We had this director as well called Kyle Newman, who is like a big kid himself. It was crazy but we had a really great time.”

Barely Lethal  hits theaters and On Demand May 29.
