20th Century Fox has just brought online the trailer for director George Tillman Jr.’s (Faster, Men of Honor) upcoming adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ recent novel, The Longest Ride. Check it out in the player below and also take a look at the just-released poster at the bottom of this page.
Starring Britt Robertson (The First Time, Tomorrowland), Scott Eastwood (Gran Torino, Fury), Jack Huston (American Hustle, Outlander), Oona Chaplin (Quantum of Solace, What If) and Alan Alda (“M*A*S*H”, The Aviator), The Longest Ride centers on the star-crossed love affair between Luke, a former champion bull rider looking to make a comeback, and Sophia, a college student who is about to embark upon her dream job in New York City’s art world. As conflicting paths and ideals test their relationship, Sophia and Luke make an unexpected connection with Ira, whose memories of his own decades-long romance with his beloved wife deeply inspire the young couple. Spanning generations and two intertwining love stories, The Longest Ride aims to explore the challenges and infinite rewards of enduring love.
Featuring an adapted screenplay by Craig Bolotin, The Longest Rideisproduced by Marty Bowen, Wyck Godfrey, Theresa Park, Robert Teitel and Sparks himself. Look for it to hit theaters on April 10, 2015.
