The first trailer for Paddington 3, also known as Paddington in Peru, has been released.
Paddington in Peru is the third film in the beloved Paddington franchise, which is based on the children’s literary character created by Michael Bond. The new Paddington movie will be released in the United States next January.

What do we know about Paddington in Peru?
Paddington in Peru will see the titular bear embark on a journey to visit his Aunty Lucy in the Amazon rainforest with the Brown family.
Ben Whishaw is once again voicing Paddington in the forthcoming movie, while Imelda Staunton reprises her role as Aunty Lucy. Also returning are Hugh Bonneville as Henry Brown, Julie Walters as Mrs. Bird, Jim Broadbent as Samuel Gruber, Madeleine Harris as Judy Brown, and Samuel Joslin as Jonathan Brown.
Emily Mortimer, meanwhile, is replacing Sally Hawkins as Mrs. Brown, while Olivia Colman joins the cast as The Reverend Mother and Antonio Banderas as Hunter Cabot.
West Side Story’s Rachel Zegler was initially tapped to play a character named Gina Cabot; however, she had to drop out of the film due to the 2023 Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strike. Her role will now be played by Carla Tous.
Dougal Wilson directs the third Paddington movie, while the screenplay was written by Mark Burton, Jon Foster, and James Lamont. Both 2014’s Paddington and 2017’s Paddington 2 were directed by Paul King, who receives a story credit for Paddington in Peru.
Paddington in Peru will be released in United States theaters on January 17, 2025, from Sony Pictures. Paddington, meanwhile, is currently available to watch on Netflix and Hulu, while Paddington 2 is available to rent or purchase on various digital services.
