ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Toll sneak peek video from the drama film that premiered at SXSW yesterday. The film is set to have two more screenings at the festival, with one taking place tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. CST in the Festival Favorites Program at the Alamo Lamar 9 in Austin as well as another tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. CST at the Alamo Lamar 3 in Austin.
“Suellen, a toll booth attendant, realizes she can use her job to raise some extra money illegally,” reads the movie’s synopsis. “But this is only for a so-called noble cause: to send her son to an expensive gay conversion workshop led by a renowned foreign priest.”

Who directed Toll?
Toll was written and directed by Carolina Markowicz. The film stars Maeve Jinkings, Kauan Alvarenga, Thomás Aquino, Aline Marta Maia, and Isac Graça.
It was produced by Karen Castanho, Luís Urbano (O Som e a Fúria); Bianca Villar, Fernando Fraiha, and Sandro Aguliar and executive produced by Chica Mendonca and Joao Macedo. Co-producers are Carolina Markowicz, Mario Peixoto, and Thalita Zaher; Editors: Lautaro Colace, and Ricardo Saraiva.
