Lionsgate has unveiled the official How the Gringo Stole Christmas trailer for its newest family holiday comedy, starring Blue Beetle‘s George Lopez as a Latino father who finds out that his daughter has a white American boyfriend. The film will make its debut on December 1, in theaters, on digital, and on VOD.

What to expect in How the Gringo Stole Christmas?
“Meet the Fockers meets All About My Father in this irresistibly funny holiday comedy,” reads the synopsis. “The film follows Bennie, who’s eagerly anticipating the arrival of his daughter Claudia at his Mexican-Hispanic-American-Chicano Christmas party in East L.A. But Bennie gets a heart attack of a surprise when Claudia appears from New York with her new boyfriend, Leif — an uninvited gringo. As cultures clash, Bennie’s holiday party becomes a dysfunctional family Christmas to remember!”
How the Gringo Stole Christmas is directed and produced by Angel Gracia from a screenplay written by Ezequiel Martinez Jr. The film stars George Lopez as Bennie, Mariana Treviño as Gabbi, Emily Tosta as Claudia, Jack Kilmer as Leif, Romy Peniche, and Alma Martinez.
