Bodies Bodies Bodies Trailer Previews Murder Mystery Game Gone Wrong

A24 has revealed a brand new trailer for Bodies Bodies Bodies, the forthcoming horror comedy film, starring Amandla Stenberg, Maria Bakalova, and more. It is slated to arrive in select theaters on August 5, followed by a wide release on August 12.

The new trailer, which you can check out below, features Stenberg’s Sophie as she brings her new girlfriend to her childhood friends’ house party at a remote mansion. There, they decide to play one of their favorite games which is a murder mystery game where one of them gets assigned as a killer, while the others have to guess the killer’s identity. Soon, they realized that something is going wrong when one of their friends’ gets actually stabbed by a secret killer.

Bodies Bodies Bodies will be led by Amandla Stenberg (The Hate U Give), Maria Bakalova Oscar nominee Maria Bakalova (Borat Subsequent Moviefilm), Myha’la Herrold (Industry), Chase Sui Wonders (Generation, Rachel Sennott (Shiva Baby), with Lee Pace (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Pete Davidson (The King of Staten Island).

“When a group of rich 20-somethings plan a hurricane party at a remote family mansion, a party game goes awry in this fresh and funny look at backstabbing, fake friends, and one party gone very, very wrong,” reads the synopsis.

Bodies Bodies Bodies is directed by Dutch filmmaker Halina Reijn from a screenplay written by Sarah DeLappe, based on the spec script by Kristen Ropuenian. Executive producers are Stenberg, Sebastian Bear-McClard, Dani Bernfeld, Sarah DeLappe, Christine D’Souza Gelb, and Jacob Jaffke, with Ali Herting and David Hinojosa set as producers.
