A new Nope featurette for Jordan Peele’s highly-anticipated horror-thriller film has been released by Universal Pictures and promises quite the cinematic event when it is released in theaters on July 22, 2022.

Nope will be led by Oscar-winner Daniel Kaluuya, who is officially reuniting with Peele following the successful release of 2017’s Get Out. Joining him are Keke Palmer (Hustle), and Oscar nominee Steven Yeun (Minari), who is no stranger to the horror genre after previously starring in The Walking Dead. Further details about the project’s plot and characters are still being kept under wraps, but like Peele’s first two directorial features, it is expected to be a psychological horror-thriller laced with socially conscious themes in regards to race and society.
The film is written and directed by Jordan Peele, who previously earned an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for his directorial feature debut Get Out. Before the upcoming film, he had also directed 2019’s Us starring Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke.
