The first official trailer for the upcoming film Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe has been released, as well as the release date for the film, which will premiere on Paramount+ on June 23, 2022.

The latest trailer sees the duo of Beavis and Butt-Head heading off into space, as they’ve somehow been chosen to make their way into space. The film also sees the duo time traveling through a dark hole and ending up in the year 2022, where they’ll have to try and find their way back home.

“In perhaps the dumbest space movie ever made, Beavis and Butt-head are sentenced to Space Camp by a “creative” judge in 1998, leading to a trip on the Space Shuttle, with predictably disastrous results,” reads the official synopsis for the film. “After going through a black hole, they reemerge in our time, where they look for love, misuse iPhones, and are hunted by the Deep State. Spoiler: They don’t score.”

The original Beavis and Butt-Head ran on-air for seven seasons from 1993 to 1997 on MTV. A theatrical film, Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, was released in 1996.
