Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore teaser trailer with a full release set for Monday, December 13. The film is currently slated to arrive in theaters on Friday, April 15, 2022. The video features fresh footage from the Harry Potter film and we’re just days away from seeing even more.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore sees the return of Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, Katherine Waterston as Tina Goldstein, Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski, Alison Sudol as Queenie Goldstein, Ezra Miller as Credence, Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore, Jessica Williams as Professor Eulalie Hicks, and Callum Turner as Theseus.
The film is also set to introduce Mads Mikkelsen (Another Round) as the new Gellert Grindelwald, the villainous character first portrayed by Johnny Depp.
“Professor Albus Dumbledore knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald is moving to seize control of the wizarding world,” reads the official synopsis. “Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?”

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is once again directed by David Yates from a screenplay written by J.K. Rowling and Steve Kloves. Producers are Heyman, Kloves, Rowling, Lionel Wigram, and Tim Lewis.
