Expanding into theaters this week is The Rover, the latest from Animal Kingdom writer/director David Michôd. Set ten years after the fall of society, the film stars Guy Pearce as Eric, a hardened loner who travels the unforgiving roads of a post-apocalyptic landscape to recover his stolen car. Joining him on the journey is Rey (Robert Pattinson), a wounded young man left for dead by his own brother.
