Focus Features has debuted the new trailer for Zach Braff’s second directorial feature, Wish I Was Here. The film will be released in New York and Los Angeles on July 18 before expanding wider on July 25 and August 1.
Wish I Was Here is arriving almost exactly a decade after Braff’s debut feature, Garden State. The new film is a comedy that tells the story of a thirty-something man who finds himself at major crossroads, forcing him to examine his life, his career, and his family.
In addition to Braff, the film stars Kate Hudson, Mandy Patinkin, Josh Gad, Ashley Greene, Joey King and Pierce Gagnon.
Originally launched as a Kickstarter campaign, Wish I Was Here will offer advance screenings to backers in their local markets.
