Supervized Trailer: You’re Never Too Old to Save the World

Lionsgate has released the official trailer for their upcoming comedy film titled Supervized which centers on a retirement home for aging superheroes. Starring Emmy winner Tom Berenger (Platoon, Hatfield & McCoys) and two-time Golden Globe-winning veteran actor Beau Bridges (Without Warning: The James Brady Story), the film will have its theatrical release on July 19 in selected theaters and on VOD. Supervized follows the story of a group of senior superheroes spending their twilight years at the Dunmanor nursing home in Ireland. Because of their old age, some of them have loss their ability to control their powers. That’s why the staff at the nursing home tries to downwardly manage their powers in order to not cause harm to the others. However, when Ray (Berenger) suspects foul play at the nursing home, he reassembles his old team for one last mission, proving that saving the world never gets old.

The film also stars Fionnula Flanagan (The OthersThe Guard), Louis Gossett Jr. (An Officer and a GentlemanRoots), Clive Russell (Sherlock Holmes, The Wolfman), Fiona Glascott (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald), Elya Baskin (Spider-Man 2 and 3), John Kavanagh (Florence Foster Jenkins) and Lochlann O’Mearain (Outlander).

Supervized was directed by Steve Barron from a script co-written by Andy Briggs and John Niven.
