Netflix has just released the official trailer for the heartwarming dramedy Who Would You Take to a Deserted Island? You can check it out in the post below.
Who Would You Take to a Deserted Island? follows four friends in Madrid who are celebrating their last night together in the apartment they’ve shared for years. What starts out as a fun-filled night of partying takes an unexpected turn that will change the characters’ lives.

The film is based on the Spanish play A Quién te Llevarías a una Isla Desierta? by Jota Linares, who also directs from a screenplay by Paco Anaya. Though it appears to be dubbed in English, the source material suggests that it’s part of the streaming giant’s quest to put out more diverse content from around the world. Some of this strategy could be stemming from the success they saw with this year’s Roma, their Spanish-language feature film which has swept this year’s awards season ahead of the Oscars later this month.
You can stream Who Would You Take to a Deserted Island? when it premieres on Netflix starting April 12.
