The latest trailer for Nicole Kidman’s upcoming crime drama Destroyer looks at the complicated life and casework of detective Erin Bell. While it’s not short on action, it’s much more a meditative look at how her undercover work still affects her years after the fact. You can check out the trailer in the post below!
Destroyer follows the moral and existential odyssey of LAPD Detective Bell who, as a young cop, was placed undercover with a gang in the California desert with tragic results. When the leader of that gang re-emerges many years later, she must work her way back through the remaining members and into her own history with them to finally reckon with the demons that destroyed her past.
