Netflix has dropped the first trailer for the upcoming live music special, Springsteen on Broadway, a recorded version of the show written and performed by classic rock legend Bruce Springsteen, which can be viewed in the player below!

The special, which is set to premiere the same night as the final Broadway performance on December 15, gives audiences a chance to spend an evening with the 69-year-old musician as he shares stories from his life and performs on stage solo on the guitar, piano and microphone, while also including a special appearance by Patti Scialfa.
The one-man show has been running on Broadway since last October, constantly selling out tickets and expanding its initial run from last November to this December due to high ticket demands and scalpers buying up tickets.

The special is directed and produced by Emmy-award winning director Thom Zimny, as well as the producing team behind the Broadway special, including Springsteen’s manager Jon Landau, tour director George Travis and Barbara Carr.
Springsteen, aka The Boss, is considered one of rock’s most prolific artists, with a career spanning four decades and having released 18 studio albums and has garnered 20 Grammy wins, an Oscar win for the original song “Streets of Philadelphia” for the Tom Hanks-led film of the titular city and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Springsteen on Broadway is set to debut on Netflix on December 15.
