Two upcoming films have set themselves for release this fall. November 15 will see the release of both Ridley Scott’s The Counselor and Peter Segal’s Grudge Match.
The Counselor, starring Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Dean Norris, John Leguizamo and Natalie Dormer, was scripted by Cormac McCarthy and tells of a present-day Southwest lawyer who gets in over his head in the drug trade.
Grudge Match, meanwhile, stars Sylvester Stallone, Robert De Niro, Kevin Hart, Kim Basinger and Alan Arkin and revolves around retired boxers Billy “The Kid” McGuigan and Henry “Razor” Sharp, lifelong bitter rivals who are coaxed out of retirement and into the ring for one final grudge match — 50 years after their last title fight.
November 15 is also the date that Walt Disney Pictures has slated for Bill Condon’s WikiLeaks drama The Fifth Estate.
