Evan Rachel Wood is set to play the leading role in an upcoming project called 10 Things I Hate About Life. Although the film will arrive from Gil Junger, the writer/director of 1999’s 10 Things I Hate About You, Deadline reports that the film is not a sequel.
A romantic comedy, 10 Things I Hate About Life follows a man and a woman who meet one night while both contemplating suicide. Their ensuing relationship leads to them both giving life another chance.
In addition to recent appearances on HBO’s “True Blood,” Wood starred in George Clooney’s The Ides of March and will soon appear in Fredrik Bond’s The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman, opposite Shia LaBeouf, Mads Mikkelsen, Melissa Leo, Til Schweiger and Rupert Grint.
10 Things I Hate About Life will be produced by Andrew Lazar, who also produced 10 Things I Hate About You.
