Production begins on Jim Jarmusch’s zombie comedy The Dead Don’t Die
Focus Features has announced that Jim Jarmusch’s new zombie comedy The Dead Don’t Die has begun production. This is writer/director’s third collaboration with Focus, with previous projects including Broken Flowers and The Limits of Control.
The cast is led by many past Jarmusch collaborators, including Academy Award nominee Bill Murray (Broken Flowers), Adam Driver (Paterson), Academy-Award nominee Chloë Sevigny (Broken Flowers), Academy Award winner Tilda Swinton (Only Lovers Left Alive), Steve Buscemi (Mystery Train), as well as Selena Gomez (Monte Carlo) in her first Jarmusch feature.
Plot details for The Dead Don’t Die have not yet been released, but the project is expected to be released in 2019. Joshua Astrachan and Carter Logan are set to produce.
