Jake Gyllenhaal will produce and is in talks to headline Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck’s Mississippi Grind, according to a story at The Hollywood Reporter.
Boden and Fleck (Half Nelson, It’s Kind of a Funny Story) will both write and direct, telling the story of an aging gambler who teams with a younger gambling addict (Gyllenhaal) on a road trip across the American south.
Gyllenhaal can next be seen on the big screen starring opposite Michael Pena in David Ayer’s End of Watch.
Lynette Howell, John Lesher and Jamie Patricof will produce Mississippi Grind.
