Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are reteaming for the Netflix ensemble comedy Murder Mystery, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The two previously starred together in the 2011 comedy Just Go With It.
According to the trade, Murder Mystery will “follow a New York City cop (Sandler) as he finally takes his wife (Aniston) on a long-promised European trip. A chance meeting on the flight gets them invited to an intimate family gathering on the Super Yacht of elderly billionaire Malcolm Quince. When Quince is murdered, they become the prime suspects in a modern-day whodunit.”
White House Down writer James Vanderbilt wrote the script, to be directed by Workaholics co-creator Kyle Newacheck.
Murder Mystery will mark Sandler’s sixth feature film with Netflix, while it will be the first time Aniston is working with the streaming service.
