In development at Warner Bros. since last year, the life-affirming apocalypse drama The End has found a director in Drew Barrymore, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter.
Written by Aron Eli Coleite, the project follows three intertwined storylines that all revolve around individuals on the Earth’s final day. One is a veteran broadcaster in London, another is a 16-year old girl with her boyfriend in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and the third is a family man living in Shanghai.
Though best known as a actress, Barrymore made her feature directing debut with 2009’s Whip It.
