Kevin Hart is set to headline Screen Gems’ remake of About Last Night…, says a story at The Hollywood Reporter. He’ll play Bernie Litgo, the character that Jim Belushi played in the 1986 original.
The original film, which also starred Rob Lowe, Demi Moore and Elizabeth Perkins, was directed by Edward Zwick and based on David Mamet’s 1974 play “Sexual Perversity in Chicago,” about a couple who start a romantic affair despite their friends’ disapproval.
Hart recently appeared in Think Like a Man and is set to star opposite Kevin James in the upcoming comedy, Valet Guys.
Will Gluck, who recently directed Easy A and Friends With Benefits, will produce for Screen Gems with Leslye Headland providing the screenplay.
