Blake Lively thriller The Rhythm Section shuts down production after injury

The international espionage thriller The Rhythm Section, starring Blake Lively, is shutting down production, according to THR. The Reed Morano-directed film is on hold while Lively recovers from a hand injury sustained during a stunt while filming in Dublin in December. Crews for The Rhythm Section have reportedly been told to find other work. Production had shut down temporarily after the injury, but Lively reportedly needs a second surgery to fully heal. There is no date set for a return to production, and the surgery is said to take five months of recovery time. Just under half of the film has been shot at this time.

The new, and lethal, Stephanie Patrick is on a mission to fill the void between what she knows and what she is told.
