Terrence Howard (Iron Man) is set to play the villain in IM Global and Original Films’ action-thriller Dead Man Down opposite Colin Farrell, Noomi Rapace and Dominic Cooper, reports Variety.
In the film, to be directed by Niels Arden Oplev (the original The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Farrell plays right hand man to an underground crime lord (Howard) in New York City who is seduced and blackmailed by Beatrice (Rapace), a crime victim seeking retribution. Their intense chemistry leads them spiraling into payback delivered in violent catharsis.
Filming will start this month in Philadelphia. The movie was written by J.H. Wyman.
