Making her directorial debut with this month’s In the Land of Blood and Honey, Angelina Jolie appears to have lined up her next project as an actress. Deadline reports that she’ll team with director Luc Besson for an untitled thriller, said to be rooted in scientific fact.
Jolie appeared late last year in The Tourist opposite Johnny Depp and provided a voice for this year’s Kung Fu Panda 2. She’s expected to act in the Besson project before teaming with Ridley Scott for a biopic on Gertrude Bell (as reported last month.)
Besson, meanwhile, is gearing up for the release of his Aung San Suu Kyi biopic, The Lady. In an Oscar-qualifying run in Los Angeles now, it opens in a limited release on February 17th.
