Lionsgate announced a release date for Kenny Ortega’s updated Dirty Dancing today. The film will be headed to theaters on July 26, 2013, which is the same date as Disney has the Phineas and Ferb movie scheduled.
In other release news, the studio has pushed back horror film The Possession from January 6, 2012 to August 31, 2012. This moves the movie away from Paramount’s The Devil Inside, now scheduled for January 6.
