ShockTillYouDrop.com reports that Sienna Guillory, the actress who has become known as Jill Valentine in Resident Evil: Apocalypse and the subsequent fourth chapter Afterlife, updated her Twitter followers today with the following:
“Big day tomorrow! Meeting Paul Anderson and Jeremy Bolt and Robert Kultzer to see what my future looks like…”
Guillory’s “future” in Resident Evil: Retribution, the fifth “Evil” film, had been called into question when a report broke that she was going to be replaced. This was met with a negative reaction from the fans hoping she would reprise her role. But her recent post can be construed as good news.
Now we have to look forward to who will play newcomer characters Ada Wong, Leon Kennedy and Barry Burton.
Paul W.S. Anderson begins shooting Resident Evil: Retribution in September with Milla Jovovich reprising her role as Alice.
UPDATE: Sienna Guillory has confirmed via a new Tweet that she is indeed returning – “THANK YOU SO MUCH! RETRIBUTION HERE I COME!”
