Rob Corddry looks to be joining the cast of Jonathan Levin’s upcoming Warm Bodies. Variety reports that the comedian is in final talks for the adaptation of Isaac Marion’s zombie romance novel.
The story centers on an existentially tormented zombie who begins an unlikely friendship with the girlfriend of one of his victims and starts a chain reaction that will transform him and his fellow zombies.
Corddry will play a zombie called R opposite the leading zombie played by Nicholas Hoult and his character’s love interest, played by Teresa Palmer.
Corddry has recently appeared on the big screen in Hot Tub Time Machine and Cedar Rapids. He’ll next be featured in Jim Field Smith’s comedy Butter and Paul Middleditch’s Rapturepalooza.
