Sony is developing a project called Five Against the Bullet, Variety reports, with Lorenzo di Bonaventura producing and Alex Litvak writing.
The film is said to feature a Mexican politician who hires five expert bodyguards to take down the drug cartel that killed his father.
Litvak made his feature writing debut with last year’s Predators and is also responsible for the script to the upcoming Paul W.S. Anderson project The Three Musketeers. Di Bonaventura, meanwhile, is best known for producing the Transformers live-action franchise as well as G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra and the upcoming, as-of-yet-untitled G.I. Joe 2.
