A casting call has gone out for upcoming Pittsburgh-based scenes in The Dark Knight Rises, entering into production under the production title Magnus Rex.
The announcement arrives courtesy of SWD Casting and reads as follows:
A Warner Bros. Film requires extras to play as Victims and Perpetrators within a city besieged by crime and corruption. Take part in the urban action adventure ripping through the streets of Pittsburgh from July 28th through August 21st
Sat. June 11th – 9am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm
Sun. June 12th- 10am – 1pm and 2pm – 6pm
Sat. June 18th- 9am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm

The film, which will end Christopher Nolan’s take on the Batman franchise, features the return of Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Nestor Carbonell, along with roles for Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, Daniel Sunjata, Matthew Modine, Tom Conti, Joey King, Alon Aboutboul, Burn Gorman, Diego Klattenhoff, Brett Cullen and Chris Ellis. It is set for release on July 20, 2012.
