Deadline reports that Alice Braga (The Rite, Predators, I Am Legend) has been cast in Neill Blomkamp’s Elysium, coming to theaters on March 1, 2013.
Braga joins a cast for the sci-fi project that includes Sharlto Copley, Matt Damon, Jodie Foster and Wagner Moura.
The next film from the District 9 writer and director is set in the far future on another planet and is filled with many sociopolitical ideas wrapped up inside a Hollywood action film.
