Two more have been added to the cast of Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises. Variety reports that Brett Cullen and Chris Ellis have signed on for the film as a judge and a priest, respectively.
Cullen is best known for appearances in films like Apollo 13 and, in a very different comic book universe, Ghost Rider, where he played Barton Blaze, father to Nicolas Cage’s Johnny Blaze.
Ellis, meanwhile, is also known for a part in Apollo 13 and other character roles in films like Transformers, Armageddon and Catch Me If You Can.
The Dark Knight Rises is now in production internationally and features the return of Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Nestor Carbonell, along with roles for Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, Daniel Sunjata, Matthew Modine, Tom Conti, Joey King, Alon Aboutboul, Burn Gorman and Diego Klattenhoff. It is set for release on July 20, 2012.
