Dark comedy My Dead Boyfriend starring Heather Graham reveals official theatrical poster
You remember Anthony Edwards right? He of Revenge of the Nerds, Top Gun, ER and, of course, Pet Sematary 2 fame. Oh, and who could forget Miracle Mile (read our amazing feature on that classic piece of ’80s paranoia here). Indeed, Edwards is one of the most charismatic actors of his generation and now, he’s turned director.
Edwards has helmed writer Billy Morrissette’s My Dead Boyfriend, a jet black comedy about how the weight of mourning the dead can often lead to some of the most surprising adventures in life.
Synopsis: Mary’s life has been defined by a string of temp jobs and a half-hearted attempt to become a writer. But all that changes when she comes home to find her boyfriend dead in front of the TV set. During her misadventures in trying to get rid of his ashes – accidentally becoming the bassist in a rock band; bonding with the dog he left behind; awkward encounters with numerous ex-lovers; Mary discovers that there was much more to her couch potato boyfriend than she ever thought imaginable.
The film boasts a killer cast that features Heather Graham (From Hell, Boogie Nights), Griffin Dunne (An American Werewolf in London) and Gina Gershon (Showgirls, Bound).
My Dead Boyfriend will be released via Momentum Pictures and Orion Releasing in select theaters and On Demand/Digital HD on November 4.
