Matt Damon may have machinations on Father Daughter Time: A Tale of Armed Robbery and Eskimo Kisses. Deadline reports that the star is interested in the Matthew Aldrich spec script as both an actor and a director.
Aldrich, who is a relative newcomer to Hollywood, sold the original script to Warner Bros. and the project is now in development at the studio. The story is said to deal with, as the title suggests, a father daughter pairing that, together, go on a cross-country crime spree.
Though Damon broke into Hollywood by writing and acting in Good Will Hunting in 1997, Father Daughter Time would, if he takes the job, mark his directorial debut.
Damon recently appeared earlier in The Adjustment Bureau and is scheduled to appear later this year in Margaret, Contagion, Happy Feet 2 and We Bought a Zoo.
