Michael Stuhlbarg (upcoming Hugo Cabret, “Boardwalk Empire,” A Serious Man) has joined the cast of Men in Black III, reports Heat Vision.
Stuhlbarg will play a character called “Griffin,” which is the role that Sharlto Copley was in talks for last year, but a deal was never made.
Stuhlbarg is joining a cast that includes Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin, Jemaine Clement, Emma Thompson, Nicole Scherzinger and Alice Eve. Barry Sonnenfeld is currently directing the film for a May 25, 2012 release in 3D and 2D theaters.
