Universal Pictures has also set a July 13, 2012 release date for Seth MacFarlane’s Ted. The other film scheduled to hit theaters that day is Ice Age: Continental Drift.
Marking the feature directorial debut of the “Family Guy” creator, MacFarlane will also co-star and provide the voice for the CG-generated title character. MacFarlane wrote the script with “Family Guy’s” Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild. Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Giovanni Ribisi and Joel McHale co-star.
In other release news, Warner Bros. has taken The Apparition off of September 9 and the Ashley Greene-starrer will now hit theaters in 2012.
