Wagner Moura (the “Elite Squad” films) will play the villain in Neill Blomkamp’s sci-fi film Elysium, reports Latino Review.
He is joining Sharlto Copley, Matt Damon and Jodie Foster in the film, which starts shooting this summer for a March 8, 2013 release.
Elysium is set in the far future on another planet and is filled with many sociopolitical ideas wrapped up inside a Hollywood action film.
Heat Vision adds that the villain will be a powerful one and will have a crazy sense of humor.
