Aaron Johnson and Mia Wasikowska are the latest names to join the cast of Albert Nobbs, ScreenTerrier reports (via Indiewire).
Wasikowska and Johnson will replace the previously attached Amanda Seyfried and Orlando Bloom in the parts of Helen and Joe, respectively.
The film, set in 19th century Dublin, deals with a woman who disguises herself as a man in order to survive. Based on the short story by George Moore, the film features Glenn Close, who starred in a stage version, in the lead. Close is also credited as the writer (alongside John Banville) as well as a producer.
Johnson recently appeared as the lead in both Kick-Ass and Nowhere Boy while Wasikowska played the lead in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland and a supporting role in The Kids Are All Right.
